126ps everywhere. It’s very odd watching REALLY old TG episodes. Really, Clarkson only continued TG in name only. The actual format changed so much over the years it’s not even funny. Also, I love how the Yugo is considered the most “modern” of all it’s competitors. Funnier yet is that was probably true.

The Yugo would have been a brand new design at the time, so it’s not too surprising. Heck they were still a reasonably well handling machine when we got them in the U.S. a few years later.

Love how the host says Po Land.

Also, seems like every other auto worker has a hammer in his hand beating on the car to make things fit. Polish autoworkers must have had very developed muscles in their right arm back then.

Yeah the super old Top Gear seemed almost like a new segment than a TV show

It was very informative and quite boring at times. But it is quite cool seeing what the car market was like back in 80s Britain. Top Gear didn’t get entertaining until the early 90s when they let Clarkson do his thing and people like Tiff, Quentin, and Vicki joined the show too.

Yeah no, you have to be in the mid set to watch a documentary when watching Top Gear older than the 90's.
